Microsoft’s certainly hoping the launch of Windows 7 will put its Vista woes to bed, but now it seems the new OS isn’t solely about correcting mistakes from the past: it seems Microsoft and Intel want to create a new breed of “superthin” netbooks, powered by Windows 7. The question dividing the Electricpig forums is whether or not that’s enough to fend off the likes of Google’s Chrome OS.
