MSN Video Player is a brand new on-demand service stuffed to the rafters with top free comedy shows, and it’s just about to go online here. Want to know what you’ll be able to watch for free whenever? Read on.
All of a sudden, the cross-channel on-demand service is starting to heat up. Hulu’s working overtime to bring its platform over here, Project Kangaroo could be resurrected in some form, and now Microsoft‘s weighing in and having a crack too with the MSN Video Player.
When MSN Video Player launches, you’ll be able to choose from over 300 hours of top TV, including comedy classics like Peep Show, The Young Ones and the League Of Gentlemen. BBC Worldwide and All3 Media are the first content providers, but Microsoft’s moving and shaking to bring more channels and production studios in.
The MSN Video Player bursts into beta from next week, and will run on any platform through Flash in your browser, so long as you’ve got at least 650kbps connection. Now, where’s Microsoft’s Spotify slayer?
