We’ve caught the LG BL40 Chocolate on video already, seen it in off the cuff Blurrycam shots and even in the sweaty hands of an Asian tech journo, but now LG’s finally fessed up. The LG BL40 Chocolate is real folks, and it’s dropped the first official photos of the widescreen wonder to prove it.
As rumoured, the LG BL40 Chocolate pack a 21:9 ratio 4-inch LCD screen, so you’ll be able to see messages and your whole inbox simultaneously, or banish the black bars from mobile movies. It’s a quirky feature, but has the potential to be a major trendsetter.
On the spec front, LG is keeping quiet on the LG BL40 Chocolate, but we’d wager on HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 5MP camera shimmying on in there when the LG BL40 Chocolate launches in Q3 this year. Which by the way, is now. Have a look at the first official snaps of the LG BL40 Chocolate while we await the extra deets.
