natal-mylo-12Throw another rumour onto the pile marked Project Natal. After Microsoft’s claims that Natal might not hit by 2010, THQ’s CEO has waded in with the claim that Project Natal will indeed be making you look like a berk by the rear end of next year. Keep reading to see what Mr THQ has to say for himself.

Project Natal has been mooted for a 2010 release ever since it was first shown off at E3 in June. But Microsoft has been quick to go back on Steve Ballmer’s claims that we’d all be flicking through menus and shooting bystanders with our bare hands by next Christmas.


Microsoft: Project Natal won’t replace Xbox 360


So it’s interesting to hear THQ’s CEO Brian Farrell say he think it’s all good for next year. In an otherwise deathly dull earnings call, Farrell informed ivestors about, “Natal from Microsoft, a platform addition coming late next year.”

Seeing as his company will be beavering away on titles that utilise the killer controller–free kit, it seems this is a pretty nailed on observation. And it certianly ties in with other gossip that places Project Natal on shelves ahead of what our American cousins dub “the holidays.”
