Sign up for a preview of the new Xbox 360 update? Then you’ll be able to get involved and have a mooch around the tweaked platform from today. Microsoft has already fired off an email letting you know that you can get involved. So what can you expect from this Xbox update? Read on and find out.
The new Xbox update will include a slew of new features, aimed at sating gamers ahead of the big changes later this year, such as access to Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm.
While you wait for those, today’s preview will let you host virtual movie parties with your pals, rate games and even get veteran stamps if you’ve been spending your time in your pants acting like the big man on GTA IV (or any other game for that matter).
Only “a few thousand” keen Xbox fans have been able to get stuck into the preview, but it won’t be long until you can get tucked into this host of new features. Microsoft says the Xbox update will be live next month.
The question is, will this keep you happy while you wait for the Xbox 360 to become a social networking hub in the autumn? Make sure you tell us what you think over on the Electricpig Forum.
