Fans of Dick Tracey, or just geeks with a penchant for looking silly, this one’s for you. Samsung has confirmed its S9110 watchphone will be landing this very month, edging out arch–rival LG’s effort and offering stacks of killer features. Keep reading to find out how Samsung’s S9110 watchphone will turn you into a gadget demi-god.
The Samsung S9110 watchphone has left us reeling. The LG GD910 might look the part, but Sammy’s version comes with even more mobile mayhem inside. As well as looking akin to those calculator watches you used to rock at school, the S9110 packs a touchscreen, MP3 player and speakerphone.
LG Watchphone launching on Orange this year
While the LG GD910 can match that, Samsung’s S9110 comes with Outlook support, Bluetooth 2.1 and voice recognition. It seems that the Korean battle for gadget supremacy is throwing up some seriously cool kit for us to slaver over.
LG’s effort is due to land on Orange in August with a predicted price tag of £1,000. However, the Samsung S9110 is due out this very month, in France at least, for just €450. That’s £389 to us Brits.
We’re onto Samsung to get a UK release date, so stay tuned. Either way, it looks like we’ll all be living out our futuristic watchphone dreams sooner than we thought.
