Nokia’s social networking monster mobile, the Nokia 6760 Slide, got outed yesterday with a vague Q3 release date and price tag in Euros, but we’ve just got word of a UK release and it’s a bit later than expected. Want to know when you’ll be be poking your friends and shoving virtual sheep their way on the bus? Keep reading.
The Nokia 6760 Slide, or Surge as it’s known stateside where it’s already on sale, was given an ambiguous third quarter release date, meaning some time before the end of September. But Mobile Today has word that it won’t hit Carphone Warehouse until October, so you’ll have to wait a few weeks longer to get your social media fix.
There’s no word as to whether the Nokia 6760 Slide will be an exclusive to the chain but don’t be surprised if the curious QWERTY suffers a slight delay before it hits UK shelves, where it’s expected to ship with a super cheap price tag, alongside a beefy battery that’ll keep social butterflies blitzing out messages for days on end.
Out October | £TBC | Nokia (Via Mobile Today)
