NokiaJust what are you up to Nokia? The Finnish phone maker has been caught filing trademarks for not one but two new ranges: the mysterious Nokia Cseries and Nokia Xseries. We don’t suppose either of them would have anything to do with the rumoured Nokia netbook now, would they? Read on and find out what’s brewing.

Anyone who knows Espoo from an igloo knows that Nokia currently has two premium handset lines alongside its regular models, the business blower Eseries and the smartphone, multimedia juggling Nseries. But Nokia looks to be doubling that line-up, filing for trademarks of the phrases “Cseries” and “Xseries”.

That means that Nokia could be about to branch out into two new areas, but just what will they be? We’d expect the Nokia netbook or MID it’s cooking up with Intel to feature under one of them, but the other line could be anything – other than Android, that is. They’ll have to be eye opening though for Nokia not to just slap a 4 digit code on and run with them. Hopefully Nokia will out the new ranges soon though, so expect more details incoming.
