Forget the poor interface - if you don't get the whole track, what's the point? Any method of playing a track, namely selecting it from a menu, hitting 'next' or 'previous' sure enough missed the start of the track. The only way to hear it was to spool back once the track was playing! I took mine straight back to the shop. Mine started each track about 2 seconds in – and so did my colleague's.
