That there phone on the right? Looks like the new LG Chocolate to us, with its distinctive and ever so tasty 21:9 ratio touchscreen. Take a look at this new snap again though. What’s that on the left? Is it another new LG Chocolate? It sure looks like it: read on to find out the ins and outs of of LG’s latest leak right here.
We know a new LG Chocolate number is on the way, rumoured to be called the LG BL40, but as the promo video we saw earlier this week showed, it’s the eccentric oblong blower on the right. We’re still keen to try out the new screen size on it, but this latest leaked shot from a German forum shows another black LG model that seems to take its cue from an iPod nano more than anything else.
New LG Chocolate: first photos!
Just what is it? If it is a second new LG Chocolate, we’d guess that it’s got a touch sensitive keypad, since the screen is half the size of the BL40′s and unsuitable for typing on. It’d also make commercial sense, since the razzle dazzling BL40 looks far more expensive than any previous model in the LG Chocolate line. Finally and tellingly, it’s got the red lining we saw in the initial teaser pics.
Unfortunately, we don’t know anything else about this mystery model just yet, but the poster teased us a few more specs on the stretchier number: the camera is a 5MP with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens, and there’s HSPDA, Wi-Fi and an FM radio, as well as an 800×345 screen resolution. Care to clarify before next month, LG?
