This here screen looks an awful lot like an Asus Eee Top, but don’t be fooled: this is the Sony Bravia KDL-19S5700, one strange, soap bar shaped telly destined for living rooms, kitchens and almost anywhere with a ledge from later this year. Intrigued? Read on for first pics!
Sitting tucked away in a corner of Sony’s showcase today was the Sony Bravia KDL-19S5700, an unusual looking gogglebox that bears more resemblance to one of Asus’s all in ones than a standard HDTV. Still, we can see it would work as a second screen, perched on a mantelpiece and working overtime as a 19-inch digital photo frame.
Unfortunately, the Sony Bravia KDL-19S5700 was powered off, and is still otherwise under wraps, with specs and pricing to come in the next few months, but we’re told it’ll still be “premium” priced. Come and have a early glimpse of what’s going on right here in our gallery though!
