The Navigon 8410 is a brand new satnav that’s top of the line both inside and out, with a polished steel frame stuffed with features like digital TV and photo-realistic 3D mapping that gives Google Street View a run for its money. Can this beat the Navman Spirit TV? Read on and see.
With a wide 5-inch glass screen and and beautiful metal frame, you’ll do well to keep your eyes on the road with the Navigon 8410 sitting pretty on your dash, but it’s real selling point is the view you’ll be getting on that display.
The Navigon 8410 comes with City3D software that shows photo-realistic 3D mapping in select European cities, with detail right down to shop fronts and even where zebra crossings and traffic lights are located. Arrive at your destination early, and you can even use the Navigon 8410 for a bit of telly thanks to a DVB-T tuner add-on, and browse through movies, music and pictures too.
It’s continental Europe only at the moment, but if you know your neuf from your nein, there’s no reason why you won’t be able to use a European maps model here on home turf. The Navigon 8410 is yours for €449 (£385) when Navigon sees fit to give us a release date.
