The Nike+ SportBand is back, ready to be slapped on joggers’ wrists everywhere, and well as all new hardware, there’s a new website to go with them. Ready? Get set. Read on!
With sweat dripping off it from a hard work out in the lab, Nike’s here with a new Nike+ SportBand that improves screen visibility and increases water resistance. Coming in three styles (grey, dark grey and er, black, although all have blazing innards), the new Nike+ Sportsband will still lash up to your iPod touch, nano or iPhone and costs just $59 (£40) stateside.
The new Nike+ SportBand coincides with a relaunched nikerunner.com, which chucks in social networking features just for the sake of it (“You like to run? No way, so do I!”), plus more useful tools like a route chart and even a way to find the best trainers for you.
There’s no word on a UK release for the Nike+ SportBand just yet, but fingers crossed this should make it across the pond quicker than it would take to run.
