LG’s already played the big tease with some sleek shots of the spanking new LG Chocolate. But now the successor to the Shine and Secret has been spotted strutting its stuff on video. And with a raft of specs also on the loose, it looks like the LG Chocolate is set to mix things up mobile style.
The new LG Chocolate isn’t your average touchscreen titan. No. In this killer clip, its Toshiba TG01–matching 4in screen isn’t 16:9, but actually 21:9. And that means watching movies in cinema style, just like Philips’ 21:9 TV.
It might sound bonkers, but that 21:9, 800×345 screen might just make sense. Imagine being able to deal with mail inboxes while also tapping out texts? It makes perfect sense for multitasking. Although how your pocket will feel about that extra real estate remains to be seen.
There’s Active Flash UI, with no reference to the S Class user interface LG punters have got used. The LG Chocolate also comes chock full of multimedia goodness, with HSDPA, AGPS, Wi–Fi and a scratch–proof glass surface.
Word is the LG Chocolate will be yours to fondle from August. And our gadget lust has already kicked into gear.
