A new NERF foam dart firing game is headed to the Nintendo Wii, and to tie in, a new NERF Wii Blaster has just been unloaded by EA too. This time though, there’s a whole new bit of kit built in to make the nonsense shooting game it comes with even more stupidly addictive. Read on to find out what to expect.
EA has just announced NERF 2: N-Strike Elite, another railshooting NERF game for the Wii. That’s news enough in itself, but EA’s also dropped a new NERF Wii Blaster too, which will have you dispatching enemies with a pump and a pop.
Said new NERF Wii blaster won’t register foam darts hitting your TV screen unfortunately, but it does come with a “NERF decoder scope” (the red lens on top), which shows hidden secrets in the game when peeped through, like enemy weakpoints, secret codes and more.
The new NERF Wii Blaster houses your Wiimote inside, but for anyone itching for a bit of office tomfoolery, don’t worry, it’s a proper NERF gun too, which holds three soft missiles that definitely won’t cause anyone to lose an eye at point blank range. EA has an Autumn release date for the NERF bundle in its targets, so look for it on shelves in the coming months.
