I paid £425 for mine, and even at that price, it's incredible value. At it's current £279, it's a unbelievable bargain. What needs to change, is consumers need to stop being pikeys and buying the cheapest crap out there, as cheap is almost always crap. At the same time, Sony need to sell the PS3 better, and show people it's full capabilities, and what you get for your money, that you don't get with cheaper and inferior consoles. As for Activision, they need to look closer to home, as £120 ( just under half the price of a PS3) for a plastic record deck DJ'ing game is what I call overpriced...
