Fancy a bit of surfing with your next sarnie? Sandwich retailer du jour Pret has just inked a deal to bring free Wi-Fi to its eateries via The Cloud.
The free Wi-Fi service will give any Pret customer chomping their dinner in store access to the web using any Wi-Fi device they like.
That means mobile phones, iPod touch and PSP devices, not to mention laptops. What’s more, it’s happening now. 60 stores have already begun dishing out the free service, and all 130 Pret stores will be serving it by December.
Pret has been trialling Wi-Fi services since April 2008, and the full roll-out sees it join the likes of McDonalds in offering free wireless internet through The Cloud. However, now there’s no need to grab a burger to get online.
