The specs for the mysterious Nokia 3720 Classic candybar phone have just leaked out online, just as videos of a new rugged Nokia being put through its paces start popping up online. Are they one and the same?
An inside source claims to have specs for a Nokia 3720 Classic we heard about late last month. For the most part, they’re pretty run of the mill for a Nokia mid-range mobile: a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio, microSD slot, Bluetooth and a 2.2-inch screen showing off Symbian S40. There’s one difference though: the Nokia 3720 Classic is also water and dust resistant.
Daily Mobile reckons that the Nokia 3720 Classic is the mystery Nokia we saw smashed around on a driving range yesterday, and given that the same device has been taken for a dip in a swimming pool today, we’re inclined to agree: they certainly look similar.
There’s no word on pricing for the Nokia 3720 Classic, but the tough talker is expected to land on shelves in September. We should find out before then though if they are indeed the same tough-as-old-boots blower.
