Guitar Hero 5 won’t just come with a slew of new tunes to rock out to. It seems Activision is priming a new drum kit for budding sticksmen to get to grips with. Read on and check out the details on this latest piece of killer instrument fakery.
With Guitar Hero 5 due to drop this autumn, it appears Activision is keen to get Guitar Hero World Tour punters to upgrade. New images, courtesy of Senor Blurrycam, show a newly beefed up drum kit, reportedly designed with Guitar Hero 5 in mind.
The controls have been pushed down the front, with much of that nasty plastic body done away with. The cymbals are now fully rounded, presumably allowing you to go even more berserk after raucous renditions of tunes by Queens of the Stone Age.
There’s space round the back for two kick pedals, helping you to come over all Keith Moon. Plus you’ll find a mysterious third jack, a use for which has yet to be unveiled.
Guitar Hero 5 is set to include tunes by the likes of Vampire Weekend, Elliott Smith and, um, Rush, when it launches in a couple of months
