The LG Watch Phone that whipped up a storm at CES and had everyone making more Dick Tracy quips than could be considered healthy is headed to UK in August. You better act fast, as it’ll be limited edition only, so read on for all the details right now!
The LG Watch Phone turned heads and wrists when it was unveiled in January, with some Tardis trickery allowing the South Korean giant to squeeze in HSDPA, video calling and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as media playback, and now Orange has confirmed that it’s out here in August.

Now for the bad news. We heard rumours that the LG Watch Phone would cost about as much as a Rolex, and they still look likely to be true: it’ll be available for a “limited time period” only, on PAYG or SIM-only, with price unspecified, suggesting this one’s aimed at credit-card addicts who just can’t resist a really expensive limited edition bargain. Maybe we should save our cash for a Motorola Aura instead.
