Samsung is priming a new netbook, the Samsung N510, and it’s an 11.6-inch number, sporting NVIDIA’s Ion platform. In other words, it’ll dish out HD video no problem, and with any luck, for next to nothing too! Read on to see what Sammy has cooking.
Netbook Italia recently broke the news of a Samsung N510 11.6-inch netbook, with sharp screen and HDMI port to lash it up to your telly, and new reports today suggest it’s nearing shop shelves. According to the DigiTimes, a similarly sized 11.6-inch Samsung netbook with the same NVIDIA Ion graphics is due out as soon as this month. Could this be the Samsung N510?
Hang on though: hasn’t Samsung already released a 12-inch netbook? Yup, but this time, the NVIDIA Ion platform will let the Samsung N510 do a whole lot more, such as stressful tasks like high-resolution viddy and gaming, despite the puny Atom processor.
If Samsung brings in a low pricetag with the Samsung N510, that means you could have the ideal netbook that slots straight into your flatscreen at home, so you can take your HD video wherever you go. We’ll take that over a fiddly desktop with all those cables any day.
