The Olympus E-P1 is the first Micro Four Thirds camera to really manage to squeeze all that DSLR-sized kit into a snapper the size of a point and shoot, and it’s done it with flair. The 12.3MP Olympus E-P1 rocks the retro look like no other – read on to see that classic chic come out of its carton in our unboxing gallery!
Don’t get us wrong, we liked the Panasonic Lumix G1 and GH1, but they barely felt any different from a regular DSLR. The Olympus E-P1 uses the same technology inside to come up with quality shots through interchangeable lenses, but is noticeably smaller.
Did we mention the HD video by the way? It does that too: 720p at a healthy 30fps, to be precise, and from what we’ve seen, it excels. We’re off for a play around with the Olympus E-P1, but let your eyes guzzle all these juicy unboxing photos in the meantime. Enjoy!
