What are the improvements over the Flip MinoHD? It still shoots at 30fps, 720p, but crucially, there’s now 8GB of storage to store up to two hours of video on board the Flip UltraHD, and a two-inch screen which will actually let you see what you’re shooting, unlike the traditional Flip postage stamp, and a HDMI port to playback what you’ve filmed on a flatscreen.
Things are already looking promising for the Flip UltraHD, but it’ll be tough to compete with Toshiba’s ultra cheap, full HD Camileo P10. See if it’s up to the job in our unboxing gallery right here.
