As well as letting slip its Android internet tablet release date, Archos just announced its new Archos Vision PMP line, including the swish touchscreen Archos 3 Vision we heard about last month, as well as a few tasty more surprises. Read on to find out what they are.
Top of the line is the new Archos 3 Vision with a 3-inch touchscreen, 8GB of storage expandable via microSD, video playback on your TV and 14 hours of battery life, making it a serious iPod touch rival for anyone who can cope without all the apps.

Next up is the Archos 2 Vision: there are no pictures just yet, but it should differ from the previous Archos 2 PMP in that a 2-inch touchscreen is promised, although specs are similar otherwise, with 8GB of storage, microSD slot and an FM radio rounding off the package.
Finally, taking on the iPod shuffle market is the Archos Clipper MP3 player, which weighs just 20g but packs in 2GB of space for your tunes on the treadmill. It won’t talk to you, but then that might be a good thing.
The Archos 3 Vision, Archos 2 Vision and Archos Clipper are all due out in August, priced £89.99, £49.99 and £19.99 respectively.
