Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, for the Sony PS3, has not only won the influential Game Critics Awards “Best In Show” for E3 2009 (the world’s largest videogames trade show), but also won most awards.
As well as winning “Best In Show” for its outing at E3 2009, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves also won Best Console Game and Best Action/Adventure. The unusual Nintendo DS title Scribblenauts did second-best, taking Best Original Game and Best Handheld Game.
The Game Critics Awards are voted on by editors from 29 US publications, including USA Today, Wired and Kotaku. The full list of winners is:
