orange_glastonavOrange has just made its freshly updated GlastoNav mobile phone application available from its special Glastonbury Festival site. GlastoNav has been designed in association with the Guardian Guide and will kit you out with info and performance times for all the artists you want to see, as well as furnishing you with an interactive map to help you find out where you’re supposed to be going next.

GlastoNav is free to download, although Orange warns you it may cost as much as 75p in data charges, depending on your tariff.

“Sharing your schedule with friends means you will never miss meeting up for your favourite bands and GlastoNav will keep you up to date with the latest news,“ says Spencer McHugh, brand director at Orange UK.

Other than the obvious benefit of having a guide that’s utterly impervious to the effects of stale larger and psychedelic substances, GlastoNav has a number of other features up its sleeve to make sure your eyes are glued to the small screen when not being distracted by Blur or Bruce Springsteen.

Each day at 12pm, a bull icon will be posted on the GlastoNav map revealing the location of a life-sized bull with a special code on it. Festival goers can then go and find the bull and enter the code word onto their phone to be in with a chance of winning side-stage access for one of the featured performances.

To get your copy of GlastoNav, either head to the special Orange website, or text the word GLASTO to 64446.
