Take a good look at the picture to your right. The Nikon D300s isn’t a camera confirmed by Nikon at the moment, yet that snap of a DSLR LCD screen begs to differ. How do we know it’s legit? This pic was found on Nikon’s official site! Read on for all the details.
We do love it when a camera company leaks a new DSLR on its own website “by accident“. It seems to happen almost too much to be coincidence, wouldn’t you say? In this instance, one keen camera fan found this image (since removed) on Nikon’s US site, and it lists a Nikon D300s DSLR.
Is it for real? The image has now gone from the site, and just a few days before Nikon Rumors posted an anonymous claim detailing said Nikon D300s, which looks to be similarly specced to the 12.3MP Nikon D300, but with HD video shooting thrown in for good measure, like the Nikon D5000.
That points to a Nikon D300s in the near future, if you ask us, leaving the only question being: before or after the Nikon D400?
