Given the success of Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1, it’s hardly a surprise that the functionally named Map Pack 2 isn’t far behind it. In fact, it’s out tomorrow! Treyarch community manager Josh Olin revealed the release date – Thursday, June 6th – via Twitter. So what’s in Map Pack 2? Read on to find out.
The latest set of Call of Duty DLC comes with three brand new multiplayer maps, called Banzai, Corrosion and Sub Pens, which will fulfil all your mainstream multiplayer desires. Something a little closer to our hearts, however, is waves of mindless zombies, and the bloody dispatching thereof. Fortunately, Map Pack 2 will continue to build on the runaway hit, 4-player coop zombie mode by bringing you a new level: Shi no Numa.
Shi no Numa is Japanese for zombie swamp and unsurprisingly, it’s set in a swamp. Full of zombies. Just like all the best swamps. You also get a brand new weapon – the Wunderwaffe DG-2 – and 10 new Achievements/Trophies to unlock.
The price is 800 Microsoft points, or around £8.00 on PSN. Pick it up tomorrow.
Out Tomorrow | £7.99 or 800 MS Points | Call of Duty: World at War (via CVG) (by CoD5 now from HMV on PS3 and Xbox 360)
