HTC Touch Pro2 hands-on video! We yanked the HTC Touch Pro2 out of its wrapping on camera yesterday, but in case you missed all those slow-mo stills, here’s the phone in action in our hands-on video! Come see if this QWERTY slider can take on the likes of the Nokia N97 and T-Mobile G1.

Apple may only just have added HSDPA to the iPhone, but HTC’s been sticking it in its smartphones for yonks: the HTC Touch Pro2 has it, natch, as well as Wi-Fi and GPS, plus a spacious 3.6-inch screen. On board you’ve got Windows Mobile 6.1 with HTC’s fancy TouchFLO 3D interface, though you’ll be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 when it arrives.

HTC Touch Pro2 unboxed!

What the video captures best is the slide action on the HTC Touch Pro2. Like the Nokia N97, it’s got an angled hinge, and while it’s not as solidly made as the Finnish phone maker’s, it’s more than usable, and will make watching movies on the train a much better experience.

Flip the HTC Touch Pro2 round though, and you’ll find one hell of a speakerphone around back, for making calls without beaming microwaves and whatnot into your skull. It’s loud, it’s clear and one of the best on the market. Enough prattle though, check out the HTC Touch Pro2 for yourself in the video below!
