microsoft-xbox-360The Microsoft Xbox 360 is being used to the limits of its powers, according to a senior executive at Electronic Arts in Europe. But while the Xbox 360 is “maxed out”, the Sony PS3 still has “more power” to give, according to Patrick Soderland, Senior VP, EA Games Europe.

“We’ve maxed out the 360, but we haven’t maxed out the PS3″ Soderland told Official Xbox Magazine at E3. “We’ll see developers inside [Electronic Arts] getting to understand the PS3 better and we’re getting more power out of PS3 right now.”

It’s not all bad news for Microsoft Xbox 360 owners according to the EA exec, though. Project Natal, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 motion-sensing tech, is “cool. It’s an interesting device, so I’m truly impressed by Xbox. It’s my personal favourite console… I think Microsoft is on a roll right now. If I was Sony, I would have a headache, to be honest.”

So while the present apparently belongs to the Microsoft Xbox 360, according to Soderland, the future may belong to the Sony PS3.

The present belongs to PS3 too. Have you seen the game lineup of the past 12 months? It far surpasses the 360′s titles in terms of quality.

Whilst the 360 may have more titles, thats because a) it’s been out longer b)it’s becoming a shovelware platform.
