The Vodafone Music Store is binning DRM tomorrow, and going out in the open with a big bang, by offering 8 free downloads of some top new tunes. Act fast though, it’s this Friday only!
Starting tomorrow, the Vodafone Music Store will offer 350,000 DRM free songs from 3 of the 4 big record labels, EMI, Sony and Universal as well as many indies, and to celebrate, anyone on Vodafone will be able to download the tracks below for absolutely nada. And because they’re naked of DRM, you’ll be able to whack them on your computer, iPod or even – gasp – your stereo.
Don’t kick yourself if you’ve already downloaded decks of discographies from the Vodafone Music Store: if they’re DRM-less tomorrow, you can just download them again for free, which is a better deal than Apple offered when iTunes made the jump earlier this year.
