The lucky fellas at NokNok have already got a hold of Nokia’s first touchscreen Nseries, the Nokia N97, and ripped it out of its packaging on camera, and it’s looking every bit as good as promised.
It’s too early to call it on the software front for the Nokia N97, but build wise it looks perfect. The angle that the Nokia N97′s 3.5-inch screen slips out and locks in at has been nailed, and while the keyboard layout may cause a few gripes down the road (The space bar is chilling on the far right), NokNok reckons you’ll be blitzing out messages at speed.
Nokia has also thrown a few nice additions into the Nokia N97 box, including a charger link which will let you slap in any old Nokia adapter, as well as a plectrum-like stylus for tapping away with. The Nokia N97 is yours to own SIM-less from 19 June if you can get down to a Nokia store, but you can start salivating right now with this unboxing gallery. Enjoy!
