The Palm Pre itself doesn’t launch until Saturday in the US, but its nifty wireless charging pad, the Touchstone, is already on sale in some Sprint stores. Read on for all the details.
Quite why anyone would want to go out and buy a charger for a device that isn’t actually out yet is a bit of a mystery, but we all know how excited gadget fans can be about new kit.
In any case, the evidence is over on Everythingpre, where gun-jumping forum member Artap99 chucked up some snaps proving that he managed to grab himself a Palm Touchstone and attachment for $50 (£30).
That’s quite a bit cheaper than the $70 (£42) price tag previously mentioned, but it seems like Artap99 might have had a lucky break and been quoted the wrong price for the Palm Touchstone by a shop assistant. Apparently the charger will sell for $50 by itself or $70 with the attachment.
