Acer F900We first spotted the Acer Tempo F900 phone back in February, but now the firm has confirmed that it will be bringing the Windows Mobile 6.1-toting handset – which sports a brilliantly crisp 3.8-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen – to the UK.

The Acer F900 comes with “3.75G” HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity for scorchingly swift web browsing and downloads, alongside a suite of pre-installed Google services including Maps and YouTube. There’s also Internet Explorer 6, which supports both Flash Lite and JavaScript for a PC-esque web browsing experience.

Its makers have also fitted the Acer F900 with an all-new widget-centric “Acer 2.0″ user interface, which allows one-hand navigation of the phone’s desktop, plus the ability to customise it to suit your needs. Widgets include global weather and time zones, a jukebox music player and interactive photo albums.
