Mass Effect 2 just got outed in a big way at E3, with an extended trailer and new screens breaking loose. Is John Shepard really dead? It doesn’t look like it just yet at any rate.
A few juicy bits of gossip spread like swine flu on the web last week, with the first game’s main character, John Shepard, rumoured to be killed off at the beginning of Mass Effect 2. But when EA showed off new content for Mass Effect 2 at its keynote at E3 yesterday, Shepard seemed to be playing a big part. Almost a main role, you’d have to say.
Of course, EA could still bait and switch John half an hour into Mass Effect 2, but at least we know we’ll be able to say our farewells. Mass Effect 2 won’t be out until next year, but you can get a glimpse of what’s coming in the trailer below, and graze on the gallery pics right here.
