OK, it took a while, but here’s the presentation from Lionhead that really switched us on to the possibilities of Xbox Project Natal. It’s a sneak peek at Mylo, a game which challenges you to interact with a computer generated character in a way we’ve never seen before.
Check out the video, it’ll simply blow your mind… especially when objects start being “passed” from human to computer generated character.
Mylo looks simply astounding, but it’s the Project Natal technology behind it that’s really impressive. Scanning in objects, recognising faces, understanding voices and registering emotion. It’s all super sci-fi, but happening now (and being demonstrated at E3).
Check out the video below to see Mylo in action with Project Natal at work. It’s nothing short of jaw-dropping, but make sure you watch right to the end. The possibilities for Project Natal are staggering, and this is just the beginning.

This is quite amazing… Mustve taken a lot of effort just to make one character, but still has a lot of potential
Turns out they faked this.

I hope the media string them up for this, in the same way they strung Sony up for the E3 Killzone2 pre-render.
