Crysis 2 announcedCrysis 2 has just been announced, and this time, you’ll be able to get your alien fragging fix on console too!

Crysis 2 is the second game of the planned Crysis trilogy, and EA has just confirmed it’s destined for the PC, Sony PS3 and Xbox 360.

That’s a big step for developer Crytek, as Crysis 2 will be the first game it’s made for console, as well as the first being built using its CryENGINE 3 game engine.

There’s no release date for Crysis 2 just yet, but for PC gamers that’s probably a good thing, as if it’s anything like the first Crysis, a PC capable of running it at max settings won’t have been invented yet. By sheer and utter coincidence though, E3 starts today, so expect more details very soon.
