DJ Hero isn’t the only rhythm based scratching game in town. A rival game is in the pipeline, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ, and we’ve just spied the Numark designed deck that goes with it!
Unlike DJ Hero, which appears to have the colour coded buttons on top of the vinyl, the Numark controller for Scratch places five drumpads to the side of a free spinning record player, and next to a cross fader. The controller can be switched round for left handed music mixers, and will work the same way for both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
Scratch aims to do one better than DJ Hero by letting you upload your own samples via a USB mic, but we should get even more info at E3 next week, so we’ll let you know if any more juicy details hit the decks on either Scratch or DJ Hero.
