iPhone-spotters got a surprise blip on their radar on Friday as T-Mobile Austria appeared to accidentally post details of a new 32GB model. The details were swiftly removed.
iPhone rumour watchers can move ‘32GB version’ a little higher on their table of likely Apple WWDC revelations. T-Mobile Austria seem to have made a slip-up by posting details of a 32GB iPhone model on their ‘coming soon’ page. T-Mobile quickly pulled the page, which only mentioned increased storage and had no details of any other additional features, nor pricing or a release date.
This kind of accidental reveal has happened before, but doesn’t always guarantee anything. E.g. The iPhone Nano has been conspicuously absent, despite numerous ‘leaks’ of iPhone Nano-branded cases, etc. on third-party sites.
Apple is expected to unveil the next generation iPhone at its World Wide Developers Coference (WWDC) on 8th June. An upgrade to 32GB has been mentioned before, but as ever with Apple no details have been confirmed.
