Fuel, the upcoming offroad racing game from Codemasters for PC, Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360, has won a Guinness World Record for officially having the “largest playable area in a console game” ever. How much dirt is there to ride across? Apparently, 5,560 square miles (or 14,400 km2 metric-heads) of it.
Fuel is set to be Codemasters’ freeroaming rival to Colin McRae DiRT and MotorStorm. It features bikes, ATVs, muscle cars, SUVs, buggies and trucks racing on dirt tracks, rough roads and off-piste. And looks rather tasty, in a grit-in-your-mouth way.
Out 5 June for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 | from £30 | Fuel
