Freesat logoFreesat will be screening two of the most important football matches of the year, live, in HD next week. Find out how you can catch all the action in hi-res right here!

We’ve always said Freesat is a great way to get HD telly slung into your living room without forking over for a Sky subscription, but if you need proof, this is it: you’ll be able to catch both the Champions League and FA Cup finals on ITV HD on the service next week when they kick off on Wednesday and a week Saturday respectively.

How to tell you’re an HD snob

We’re not so fussed about the “magic” of the FA Cup ourselves (Everton take on Chelsea), but the Champions League Final looks set to be every bit as exciting as last year’s. Can Manchester United make it two years in row when they take on Barcelona? We don’t know, but we’ll be watching in HD on Freesat, that’s for sure.
