The Pentax K7, the latest DSLR to shoot HD video, finally got unveiled yesterday. Want to see what you might be seeing out of very soon? Come and have a peep in our official photo gallery.
The Pentax K7 DSLR looks likely to trump the likes of the Canon EOS 500D and Nikon D5000 when it comes out: it goes a step beyond either offering 1536×1024 rezzie video at a smooth 30 frames per second.
The Pentax K7 specced and priced
Of course, the Pentax K7 DSLR is shaping up to be a top still snapper as well – it’s not forgotten its roots. Inside you’ll find a 14.6MP sensor lurking, ISO 100-6400, with a 3 inch LCD screen around back and HDMI hidden away, so you’ll be able to throw your video straight on to a flatscreen.
That bump up on its rivals comes at a price though: the Pentax K7 will cost £1,199.99 body only, or £1,229.9 with a 18-55mm lens kit. It’ll be out late June or early July over here so have a look through the Pentax K7 gallery while you wait and mull over that moolah.
