The Motorola Morrison is the missing Android phone in T-Mobile’s 2009 line-up. The oddly-named handset should be out by the end of the year.

The Motorola Morrison may sound like an obscure make of 1970s family car but no – it is the next phone to be revealed as part of T-Mobile’s Android roadmap.

T-Mobile boss Cole Brodman announced last week that the company had committed to the Android platform and would be launching ‘multiple’ handsets from three different partners. HTC and Samsung were already accounted for, and now Motorola has been revealed as number three with the Motorola Morrison.

Little is known about the Motorola Morrison’s specs, but T-Mobile reckon it will be out around Christmas this year. From the pic in the T-Mobile Roadmap the Morrison looks like it will have a slide-out horizontal keypad like… well, like 50% of all other Android phones.
