Want the Nokia 5800 Comes With Music handset but don’t fancy the Orange contract that goes with it? Head down to Nokia’s Regent Street store this Friday and you could get one half price – providing you are willing to make a sacrifice…

The Nokia 5800 Comes With Music Edition launched on Orange UK last week – but what if you don’t want to sign up with Orange, or if you can’t because you are in the middle of a long contract? Never fear – Nokia can help.

The Nokia 5800 is to go on sale SIM-Free along with the Comes With Music service from Nokia’s online outlets and the flagship Regents Street Nokia Store.

A Nokia 5800 with one year’s worth of Comes With Music will set you back £299, but if you fancy a bargain you can try your luck at the Regents Street Nokia Store this Friday from midday. The first 100 people to turn up at the store with an old mobile phone (any brand) and an MP3 player can bag a Nokia 5800 for just £149. The catch? You have to leave the phone and MP3 player with Nokia to be recycled…

Conditions apply, of course – the MP3 player must be portable with a headphone jack and both it and the phone must be working, you need to be over 16 and once the deal is done that is the last you will see of your old tech – no arguments if you realise you left a crucial MP3 on there.

Friday 22 May | £299/£149 with trade-in | Nokia
