Asus UK told us about the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell on Friday, but the company has pulled the trigger on an official launch, as all the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell specs are now live on the Asus site. As we told you, the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell takes the same tapered look and specs as the 1008HA, but comes with a bigger, better, replaceable battery that should be good for up to 10.5 hours on a charge.
You’ve still got the 160GB hard drive, Atom processor and 10.1 inch screen of the 1008HA inside the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell, but it’s the extended battery life to rival the bulky Eee PC 1000HE that’s got us excited about this lil’ fella when it arrives in July.
Asus still hasn’t made clear if we’ll be seeing the two different versions of the Eee PC 1005HA Seashell we heard about last week, but we’re chasing for confirmation. While you wait, check out the official photo gallery!
