The Sharp AQUOS SHOT 933SH is a cameraphone, although a better description might be ‘phonecamera’. This phone packs a quality lens and CCD and a twisty case that transforms it from clamshell to pocket sized snapper.

The Sharp AQUOS SHOT 933SH is a clamshell phone – not something you would automotaically associate with quality photography. Sharp get around this problem with a swivalable display that folds back on itself to form the screen of what looks to the untrained eye to be a pocket-sized digital camera.

The low-noise 10 megapixel CCD of the Sharp AQUOS SHOT 933SH has 12800 ISO sensitivity is assisted by auto focusing software, and LED flash. Auto scene selection tops off a pretty impressive camera function.

The Sharp AQUOS SHOT 933SH has a 3.3 inch touchscreen (running Sharp’s proprietary OS) and comes with Bluetooth, HDSPA and Glopbal Roaming. Sadly, the phone is Japan-only for now, although could probably be persuaded to work on a Western network if you manage to grab one on your travels.
