The Palm Pre will absolutely, positively be out on the 6 June, Sprint has confirmed. The phone will be US-only for now, but European announcements are sure to follow.
The Palm Pre’s release has been eargerly anticipated with 83% of you saying you were more interested in it than in the new iPhone. For our US readers, at least, the wiat is nearly over. Sprint has confirmed that it will launch the Palm Pre on the sixth of next month.
The Palm Pre can be bought online and via Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack, and select Wal-Mart stores up and down the United States. No release date has been announced Europe or Asia as yet, but one is surely not far off.
The Palm Pre will cost $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. Accessories include the Touchstone wirless induction chargeing point which will on sale for $69.99.
The more observant amongst you will spot that the 6 June launch date is just two days before the Apple World Wide Developers Conference which is expected to see the launch of the next generation Apple iPhone. Ouch.
