The new Sony Alpha DSLR range leaked earlier this week is being unveiled in just days, but the camera cat’s already out of the bag: read on to find out when you’ll be able to get your hands on these sharp shooters, and for how much.
Sony accidentally leaked details of the new Sony Alpha DSLR cameras on its Russian site earlier this week, but full details for the Sony a230, a330 and a380 have been escaped, with plenty of specs provided of course.
Bottom of the new Sony Alpha DSLR line is the Sony a230, with a 10.2MP sensor, 2.7″ LCD screen, SteadyShot and a HDMI port for €550 (£490). That’s followed by the Sony a330, with the same sensor but a tilting panel and Quick AF Live View for €600 (£534) body only. Finally, topping the new Sony Alpha DSLR line is the Sony a380, packed with the same features as the a330 but a 14.2MP sensor for €750 (£668) base price.

So, it looks like HD video didn’t make the cut, but with Canon and Nikon already streaking ahead in that field, perhaps that’s no bad thing. Sony Taiwan has scheduled a press conference for 19 May, so prepare for more news on the new Sony Alpha DSLR range on Tuesday.
