The Asus Eee PC 1005HA range, the follow up to the super slim 1008HA Seashell netbook, has just been revealed, and we’ve dug up some details of a UK release. Read on to find out what’s new.

The Eee PC 1008HA Seashell has only just gone on sale this week, but Asus has a follow up series in the works, the 10 inch Eee PC 1005HA. What’s the difference? The Eee PC 1005HA-M and 1005HA-H are slightly thicker, but come with a removable battery. Think the Asus Eee PC 1000HE‘s stamina mixed with the 1008HA Seashell’s style and you’re on the mark.

French website Blogee has bagged the first pictures, and says the Eee PC 1005HA-M boasts an 8 hour battery life and Atom N270 chip, while the Eee PC 1005HA-H packs Bluetooth, N280 chip and 10.5 hours of juice.

Asus has told us that UK pricing for the top Eee PC 1005HA should be around £349 (Which matches Blogee’s €349 price for the premium 1005HA-H model), £30 less than the Eee PC 1008HA Seashell, with UK shipping commencing in early July.

Confused? We don’t blame you, but this sort of battery life in a netbook of this size and shape is a genuine bonus, so we’ll keep you clued in on any announcements.
