The BlackBerry Storm 2 has leaked out online in a flood of spy shots, with sources claiming that this time, Wi-Fi has made the cut. Read on to find out what else is new in the sequel to the tactile touchscreener!
RIM’s CEO has mentioned it in interviews, but the BlackBerry Storm 2 has so far remained off camera. But what do we have here? Yup, it’s unofficial BlackBerry in the pipeline #4, the BlackBerry Storm 2.
CrackBerry has got hold of shots of the BlackBerry Storm 2, which is thinner than the original Storm, and sticks in touch sensitive buttons at the bottom. The camera is still 3.2MP and GPS is reportedly still present, but what’s got us in a tizzy is that sources claim Wi-Fi is onboard this time: no Wi-Fi was one of our major gripes with the original BlackBerry Storm.
Speed has also been improved and bugs ironed out in the BlackBerry Storm 2, although if the leak is internal, you’d expect to hear that. We don’t know when the BlackBerry Storm 2 will be made fully official and specced out, but given that RIM has yet to confirm the BlackBerry Niagara, Curve 8520 and Onyx, it might be a while yet.
